Examples include:
- Medical or dental premiums for the child.
- Uninsured health care costs over $100 annually.
- Extra education-related expenses (elementary, secondary, or post-secondary).
- Extracurricular activities that are unusually costly.
- Some child care expenses, depending on the situation.
Furthermore, for any expense claimed to be shared by the parents as a special or extraordinary expense, the expense must be:
- Necessary
- Reasonable
- Consistent
